Flood irrigation makes the West green! Your efforts as a flood irrigator help to generate over 58% of the wetlands in the Rocky Mountains and the benefits of this are huge. In addition to the forage production generated to support our food and fiber needs, your efforts support habitat for a host of wildlife and plant species, increased instream flows later into the year and create the scenic landscapes that make Colorado a wonderful place to live and visit.
