Hadley Knudsen
Northwest Resource Coordinator
Weiser, ID
Hadley Knudsen is a fourth-generation cattle rancher from Southern Idaho. Agriculture runs deep on both sides of her family and remains a big part of who she is today. Hadley lives in Weiser, Idaho, with her husband, who runs their own cow-calf operation alongside the family ranch.
Hadley earned a bachelor’s degree in Rangeland Ecology and Management from Utah State University, where she competed in undergraduate Society for Rangeland Management competitions and worked on a sagebrush-steppe monitoring crew. While attending school, she worked for the BLM in Idaho in wildland fire and post-fire recovery, where she developed a passion for rangeland health and resilient landscapes. Most recently, Hadley worked as a soil conservationist with the NRCS, focusing on private-land conservation in Eastern Oregon. Getting to know and learn from ranchers, farmers, and landowners has been her favorite part of working in natural resources.
Outside of work, Hadley enjoys riding horses, dirt biking, traveling and spending time with family. She is passionate about ranching, working lands, and the people who care for them for future generations.
