RiversEdge West is excited to announce that the third workshop of their 2023 workshop series, Habitat for the Future, will be on October 13th from 8:00 am to 4:15 pm at the Pima Community College, Desert Vista Campus in Tucson, Arizona!

We’ll get into the weeds on climate-resilient riverside habitat with engaging talks from Dr. Sean Mahoney (University of Arizona), Dr. Heather Bateman (Arizona State University), Roy Petrakis (USGS), Blanche Hooke (San Carlos Apache Tribe Forest Resources Program) and Dr. Francisco Zamora (Sonoran Institute).

In the afternoon we will visit the Tohono O’odham Nation, Hikdan Riparian Restoration Site, a fantastic opportunity to learn about the amazing restoration work in the San Xavier District.

Registration is $50 per attendee including lunch and refreshments.
