As Development Director for the Western Landowners Alliance, Jan enjoys building relationships with donors and providing opportunities for them to learn how they may help transform the future of the American West. 

Prior to joining the Western Landowners Alliance, Jan in 2011 joined the Nature Conservancy of Central and Western New York as the Senior Philanthropy Officer. Prior to that, she served as the Executive Director for the National Kidney Foundation in western New York for 17 years. 

Jan is a founding member of the Genesee Land Trust and currently chairs the Legacy Society. She serves on the Board of the Rochester Spinal Association and is active in local government. Jan holds a B.A. from the University of Rochester and an M.ED. from Nazareth College.
