Greg Welsh
Colorado Resource Coordinator
Greg serves as the Colorado Resource Coordinator for WLA, working with agricultural producers and technical partners to implement strategies that reduce wolf conflict and support both working lands and wildlife across the state. His work emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and turning conservation goals into practical, real-world approaches.
Before joining WLA in 2026, Greg focused on private lands conservation and evaluating management tools used to support sustainable wildlife populations. He brings experience in applied stewardship, monitoring, and adaptive management, with a strong emphasis on balancing ecological outcomes with landowner perspectives.
Greg holds a B.S. in Natural Resources Management and a Master’s in Natural Resources Stewardship from Colorado State University. Outside of work, he enjoys writing music and spending time outdoors with his wife, Audrey, and their dogs, Baxter and Teddy.
