Conservationist business mogul Chuck Kuhn acquired the 12,000 acre property outside of Meeker, then transferred most to neighboring Elk Creek Ranch, a unique private conservation and sporting club that Kuhn is a member of. The 12,000 acres were simultaneously placed under conservation easement, securing the legacy of Norman’s stewardship.
