Greens sue to end ‘unlawful’ grazing at sensitive Arizona site
A coalition of environmental groups filed a lawsuit challenging a federally approved plan to allow livestock grazing on sensitive Arizona lands. TheĀ lawsuit centers on stipulations in a resource management plan (RMP) the BLM finalized last year. The complaint says BLM unlawfully approved “expanded livestock grazing” and “expansive vegetation treatments” within the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area.
