This tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Animal and Range Sciences at Montana State University involves a mix of 25% academic teaching, 65% research/scholarship, and 10% service. The successful candidate will develop and implement nationally recognized teaching and research programs focusing on rangeland grazing ecology and management. Responsibilities include teaching one undergraduate course and one graduate-level course, conducting relevant research that complements existing efforts at MSU, and collaborating with faculty, researchers, and Extension faculty across Montana and the region. The candidate will also be expected to secure extramural funding, publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals, mentor graduate students, contribute to both on- and off-campus teaching and learning efforts, and comply with all reporting and policy requirements, ensuring adherence to civil rights and affirmative action policies.
