Water Supply Reserve Fund Basin Grants

The Water Supply Reserve Fund is designed to provide grants and loans to assist Colorado water users in addressing critical water supply issues and interests. The South Platte Basin Roundtable (SPBRT) and Metro Roundtable (MRT) play a major role in allocating these state funds for water projects in the South Platte River basin.

The RT memberships have approved the prioritization of its available grant funds to support six specific topic areas related to the South Platte Basin Implementation Plan:

• Planning, Studies, & Permitting
• Water Supply Infrastructure
• Conservation, Efficiency, & Reuse
• Irrigated Agriculture
• Watershed Health, Environmental, & Recreational Attributes
• Education & Outreach
