The Southern Family Farmers & Food Systems Conference
The Southern Family Farmers & Food Systems Conference is an annual event jointly hosted by the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance, Small Producers Initiative at Texas State University, and Council for Healthy Food Systems.
Our two-day conference will energize and inspire whether you’re brand new to farming or have been doing it for years. We are committed to bringing relevant, farmer-driven information to the small- to medium- scale agricultural community in Texas and surrounding Southern states.

Benefiting the Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust (CCALT) and the conservation of working lands.
This year’s BBQ celebrates the fifth anniversary of the Yampa Valley Conservation Partnership. This Northwest Colorado initiative was created as part of the 2019 merger between the Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust (CCALT) and the Yampa Valley Land Trust. CCALT inherited the stewardship of a conservation easement portfolio, and have enjoyed building relationships with conservation-minded landowners and local partners in the region.
Dress in your best Western attire!
The Silent Auction will open for online bidding one week prior to the event. Bidding will then resume at the Forever Colorado BBQ event on Saturday, August 10th.
If you are unable to attend, you can still support CCALT’s conservation efforts by making a donation to help us continue to conserve Colorado, one acre at a time, and support Forever Colorado at www.forevercolorado.org.
