In this webinar, we were joined by Julie O’Shea, founder and executive director of the Farmers Conservation Alliance, and Michael Vicenti, operations manager of the Ute Mountain Ute Farm and Ranch Enterprise, to discuss irrigation modernization and efficiencies for agricultural producers.
Their presentations aimed to share how to implement dynamic irrigation systems that utilize the best available technologies to provide reliable water, reduce operation and maintenance costs, restore fish and wildlife habitat, and build community resiliency. A case study highlighting the work of the Ute Mountain Ute Farm and Ranch Enterprise will explore how creative partnerships can support the funding and implementation of irrigation modernization on farm and ranch operations.
