Wet Meadow Restoration, A Free Workshop for Landowners

October 3 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm MDT

Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy District

Wet meadows make up only about 1% of the landscape but are important to wildlife, livestock, and water retention on the landscape. Many of these systems have degraded over time – learn how and why to fix them! This is a free workshop for landowners who want to learn:

  • How, why, and when to implement restoration
  • Benefits to vegetation, wildlife, and water
  • Agencies and organizations who can plan and fund projects
  • Experiences of other landowners
