Overview
Our first stop is the 777 Bison Ranch in South Dakota, where we will join Mimi Hillenbrand and our co-facilitator Amber Smith. We will spend the day touring the Ranch, meeting the crew, and finishing with a bison burger lunch and discussion.
Mimi Hillenbrand has been running the 777 Ranch for her family for 15 years and has worked the Ranch since she was a kid. The Ranch has been in the Hillenbrand family for over 40 years and has been raising bison for the last 30, focusing on holistic, sustainable, and humane management.

The idea for our Ranch Management Weekends comes from an ask from this community for more time with ranch hosts and managers, skill and experience sharing, and to hear from women who own and/or manage land. These weekends will highlight and elevate other women in the community who are doing the hard work of caring for their land on a daily basis.
Join us in person for our summer Ranch Management Weekends as we hit the dusty road and visit with ranchers across the West. These are opportunities to gather together and meet women in our community who are opening their ranches to us with stories to tell and experiences to share.
A bi-monthly in-person ranch series starting in May. During these single-day or two partial-day sessions, we’ve built in ample time for exploring ranching themes, diving deep into conversations, questions, and knowledge-sharing.
