Kelsee Taylor

Conservation Finance Director

Kelsee Taylor brings over a decade of experience in conservation finance, partnership development, and ecosystem restoration to her role as Conservation Finance Director at Western Landowners Alliance. She specializes in developing innovative financial solutions that bridge conservation needs with economic opportunities to support communities across the West.

Kelsee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Prescott College. As Project Development Manager at Blue Forest, Kelsee worked to design conservation finance strategies, bringing together diverse stakeholders, identifying new funding sources, and developing financial structures to support meaningful restoration projects across public and private lands.

Previously, as Conservation Corps Director for Northwest Youth Corps and Idaho Conservation Corps, she worked with many partners across the Pacific Northwest to implement restoration projects and develop impactful workforce development programs, helping to train the next generation of emerging land managers. Her leadership experience spans many years, including roles with American Conservation Experience, where she progressed from AmeriCorps field crew member to Associate Director, the U.S. Forest Service, and National Marine Fisheries Service. In her free time, she loves getting outdoors and exploring central Oregon with her family.
