Position Overview: This position will support day-to-day financial, human resources, and business operations.
Amount of Time & Status: 20 hours a week, non-exempt, Monday-Friday (flexible)
Location: This position is remote, but individual must be located in the Denver-metro area.
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Compensation: Starting pay is $26.50/hour. With time, there is potential for this position to increase in hours wherein WLA will offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and other benefits (once the position is 30 hours/week).
- With support from the contract CFO, oversee accounts payable, accounts receivables, deposits, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Oversee human resources activities by maintaining personnel files, coordinating and conducting new hire and benefits orientations, ensuring compliance with all labor laws and employment practices, managing benefits proposals and open enrollment, employee communications, payroll entries and processing, and supporting recruitment and talent retention strategies.
- Support business operations through management of insurance, charitable registrations, and document sharing, storage, project management, video conferencing platforms, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
