SUMMARY:Colorado Cattlemen's Agricultural Land Trust Succession Planning Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust is hosting a Succession Planning Workshop directly after the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association’s Annual Convention in June. \nThis workshop will feature guest speakers who will provide an overview of the family\, legal\, and financial aspects of succession planning\, and help you find your first or next step. This is a free workshop for all Colorado landowners and producers\, and registration is recommended. Walk-ins will also be welcome. \nCCALT has joined a nationwide effort to catalyze succession planning among farm and ranch families and enable agricultural land access for a new generation of farmers and ranchers. In the next few decades\, it is projected that at least one-third of this nation’s agricultural lands (over 300 million acres) will change hands\, making them vulnerable to conversion and development. We are committed to supporting landowners who seek services to ensure working lands remain in working hands for future generations. \nCCALT plan on recording this workshop and will send out the access link when it becomes available for distribution.
