USDA will formally unveil New Frameworks to Guide Conservation Action on America’s Working Rangelands via webinar this Thursday, April 8th.

The “science-based strategies for partnering with ranchers to save America’s grass and sagebrush lands” are the result of USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) partnering with state-level organizations from across the West, including WLA, to develop the new frameworks to combat the most severe and large-scale threats: woody encroachment, land-use conversion, exotic annual grass invasion and riparian and wet meadow degradation.
