Private Lands Partners Day 2019 – Ogden, UT

September 24 - September 26

In 2008, a small group of landowners and conservation partners from the Blackfoot River valley and around the country gathered in western Montana to discuss aspects of landscape-scale collaborative conservation through public-private partnerships. Since that inaugural meeting, this gathering has been repeated annually at various locations throughout the country and has grown in attendance to over 200. It has arguably become the premiere national event for public-private partnership in pursuit of conservation on working landscapes.

PFC’s Private Lands Partners Day brings together private landowner leaders and partners, typically from more than 30 states, to share their experiences with efforts to conserve rural working landscapes for both people and nature. Originally hosted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Blackfoot Challenge, the event has grown to include a broad spectrum of partners and landowners as well as a broad range of sponsors and supporters. The meeting typically moves to different landscapes across the country and has included meeting locations both east and west of the Mississippi River as well as on our southern and northern borders.
