Landowner Policy Forum

July 18 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm MDT

Chama Policy Session (1)

As drought continues and western water supplies run short, all eyes are on agricultural water rights. Changes are expected to happen in the coming years, so show up to make sure your voice is heard. New Mexico just experienced some of the most devastating fires in its history. The fight continues over elk management throughout the state. Finally, talks are now underway to shape the 2023 Farm Bill and landowners need to weigh in. State and federal policies will shape the future of what comes next on these issues and more. We want your input!

Join the Western Landowners Alliance and the Chama Peak Land Alliance in conversation about these and other pressing issues that affect landowners. We want to hear about your experiences and what issues are most important to you so that we can most effectively and accurately represent the interests of landowners, producers, and the working lands community. Refreshments will be provided.
