Agriculture and Land Stewardship in New Mexico – Policy Forum

October 13 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm MDT

NM Policy Forum-1

As drought continues and western water supplies run short, all eyes are on agricultural water rights. Changes are expected to happen in the coming years, so show up to make sure your voice is heard. New Mexico just experienced some of the most devastating fires in its history. The fight continues over elk management throughout the state. The state is undertaking comprehensive tax reform in its 2023 legislative session. Finally, talks are now underway to shape the 2023 Farm Bill and landowners need to weigh in. State and federal policies will shape the future of what comes next on these issues and more.

We want your input!

Join us October 13 from 5:30 – 7:30pm at the Juan I Gonzales Agricultural Center

The Western Landowners Alliance and Alianza Agri-Cultura De Taos invite you to join a conversation about these and other pressing issues that affect landowners. We want to hear about your experiences and what issues are most important to you so that we can most effectively and accurately represent the interests of landowners, producers, and the working lands community.

Refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP at the link below so we can avoid food waste.
